He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died…. Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back!” (1 Cor 15:19-20; 23) Power Pentecost Sunday is the day we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit to every believer! “What you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel: ‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.’… God raised Jesus from the dead, and we are all witnesses of this. Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. (Acts 2:16-17; 32-33)
